Please see attached above NYCPS, in partnership with the NYPD, unannounced scanning letters to families. Please note students must be prepared to pass through a metal detector every day (though scanning will NOT be in the building everyday).

When we are assigned scanning by the NYPD, it is unannounced (meaning NO ADVANCE NOTICE) and all students are expected to pass through the detectors.
