Contribute to Future Problem Solving (FPS) Team Securely Online:

Two years ago, our school launched a Future Problem Solving program for interested 6th, 7th and 8th graders. These students volunteered to come to school an hour early to work on challenging problem-solving activities, research issues such as food distribution and the environment, and master the complex FPS process.


This year, TSMS students took FIRST PLACE STATEWIDE in the Junior (4th-6th grade) Team, Middle (7th-9th grade) Team, and Junior Individual divisions! 9 TSMS students have the privilege of representing New York State at the FPS International Competition at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse from June 10 to June 13, 2010.


At the conference, we'll be competing against teams from over 40 states and 12 countries. We are delighted with our students' success. Now, however, we are faced with the challenge of funding our trip within the next few weeks.
